After countless of sources have stated in the past that Microsoft’s Kinect would retail at $149, the company still will not announce the true price of it. Gamespy reports that in a somewhat odd move, earlier today Microsoft listed the Kinect on the company’s website, which was priced at well $149. At this time, Microsoft will be taking pre-orders for the device, so it’s safe to say that $149 is the final price of Kinect. Why Microsoft won’t formally announce the price just baffles me.
