Rock Band 3 Release Date Confirmed

It’s time to dust off your plastic guitars and practice your keyboard skills cause Rock Band 3 is set to be released this fall.  Gamespot reports that Harmonix has confirmed that the title will be  released on October 26th for the PS3, Xbox 360, Wii, and DS.  The game will feature a new keyboard peripheral along with a “pro” mode that will allow gamers to learn how to play real instruments.  In addition to the release date, the company has announced various pre-order promotions for the launch.  If you pre-order the game at Walmart you will receive a $10 e-card.  If you choose to reserve it through Amazon, you will receive an in-game guitar.  Finally, if you really must pre-order at Gamestop, you will get access to three exclusive songs which include “My Own Summer” by The Deftones, “Blue Monday” by New Order, and “Burning Down the House” by Talking Heads.
