Like Cool Spot, Dizzy is a well known character of yesteryear. He’s also an anthropomorphic egg. The genre of the series is hard to pin down exactly. If you were a gamer in the early 90's, especially if you were a young gamer, as I was, you will have played Cool Spot. You might not have realised that it was a game based on a brand of fizzy pop (in many places, the Spot wasn't even the 7up mascot), but you'll have played it.... more.
