Confirmation On Kinect’s UK Pricing

We can now finally confirm that in the UK Microsoft’s Kinect will put you back by £129.99. Thanks to a newsletter sent out by British retailer GAME, the Kinect will be priced at £130. Included in this price will be the Kinect device itself, all of the necessary wiring and Kinect Adventures. So your getting a game out of it aswell, similar to perhaps what Nintendo does with it’s Wii Sports title.

Also included in the newsletter is the new 4GB Xbox 360 which will be bundled with the Kinect and come’s with wireless capabilities and a port for the Kinect. This will cost you £249.99

It’ll be interesting to see how people react to the price. With Sony offering a cheaper alternative, will the price of Kinect hold some people back or does Microsoft have enough brand quality to allow people to overlook the price and focus on the tech. Only time will tell.
